Terms of Service

Welcome to OOHUP. These Terms govern your use of our platform. Please read them carefully. This is a v1 plain-language draft — our legal team reviews these periodically and we'll notify you of material changes.

OOHUP is operated by OOHUP FZ-LLC, a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We run the websites at oohup.ae and creatives.oohup.ae, together with related services and apps. When we say "we" or "OOHUP", we mean OOHUP FZ-LLC. When we say "you", we mean the person or business using our platform.

By creating an account or using any part of the OOHUP platform, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. If you're using OOHUP on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

OOHUP is a two-sided marketplace. We connect advertisers who want to run in-store campaigns with venue partners across the UAE — cafes, gyms, salons, clinics, retail and similar locations — that host advertising surfaces such as POS receipts, digital signage, lightboxes and table tents.

We provide the booking, creative review, scheduling, reporting and payment rails. We're not the advertiser, and we don't own the venues.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use OOHUP.
  • You must provide accurate, current and complete information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • You're responsible for all activity under your account, including keeping your password and Auth0 credentials secure.
  • Tell us straight away at support@oohup.ae if you suspect unauthorised access.

If you book campaigns on OOHUP, you agree that:

  • Your creative complies with UAE advertising standards, including National Media Council (NMC) guidelines, halal-compliance, and any sector-specific rules that apply (for example healthcare, financial, real estate).
  • You won't advertise competitor brands inside a venue without that venue's explicit consent.
  • Payment in AED is required before campaigns go live. Once a campaign starts running, spend is non-refundable.
  • You hold all the rights to the brand assets, copy and imagery you upload, or have a valid licence to use them.

If you list a venue on OOHUP, you agree that:

  • You'll provide accurate venue information — location, footfall estimates, surface specs and audience profile — and update it when things change.
  • You grant OOHUP a non-exclusive right to display approved advertiser creative on your agreed surfaces for the booked dates.
  • You'll display campaigns as scheduled and not swap them out without telling us.
  • Earnings are paid out on the 5th of each month for the prior month's delivered campaigns, to the bank account on file.

Every creative submitted to OOHUP is reviewed by our team within 4 business hours. We may reject, pause or remove content that violates UAE advertising laws, infringes third-party rights, or breaches our platform policies. We'll always tell you why and let you fix and resubmit where possible.

  • All prices on OOHUP are quoted in AED.
  • Prices include 5% UAE VAT where applicable.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't store your card numbers.
  • Refunds are only available for campaigns that have not yet aired. Once any portion of a campaign is live, that spend is non-refundable.

You keep ownership of your brand, logos, copy, creatives and any content you upload. You grant OOHUP a limited licence to host, display and distribute that content as needed to deliver your campaigns.

We keep ownership of the OOHUP platform, the Creative Studio, our codebase, our brand, and all aggregated, anonymised analytics generated through the service.

Either of us can end this agreement at any time by giving 30 days' written notice. Live campaigns will continue to run through the end of their booked period. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, violate UAE law, or put other users at risk.

The OOHUP platform is provided "as-is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent allowed by UAE law, our total liability for any claim relating to OOHUP is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We're not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-profit damages.

These Terms are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be resolved by the courts of Dubai, UAE.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For any material changes, we'll email you at the address on your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the platform after that means you accept the new Terms.
